Net Exports increased by 32.5% (€15.1 bn) in Q2 2024

Total Exports increased by 12.1% in Q2 2024 compared with Q1 2024 while Total Imports rose by 4.7% which meant that overall net exports for the quarter were 32.5% higher in Q2 compared with Q1 2024 or €15.1 billion higher in money terms quarter-on-quarter.

Turning to the H1 2024 results, Net Exports rose by 10.6% over the period compared with H1 2023 or €10.1 billion in money terms. The increase in Exports of 8.6% half year-over-half year outpaced the increase in Imports of 7.8%.
