The data presented is used by the Child Poverty and Well-being Programme Office.

This section presents data on children and young people accessing health services in Ireland. Here, data on immunisation uptake rates, newborn and child developmental checks, and patient waiting times for children is presented. Data on the percentage of young people with medical and GP visit cards is also provided.

Immunisation uptake rates (%) at 24 months

MMR1 refers to the first dose of the vaccine to prevent measles, mumps and rubella. PCV3 refers to the third dose of the vaccine to prevent pneumococcal infections. Polio3 refers to the third dose of the vaccine given to prevent poliomyelitis.
