The income reference period of SILC in year T is the calendar year T-1, i.e. for SILC 2024 the income relates to Jan-Dec 2023.

Sample size

In SILC 2024, the achieved sample size was 4,885 households and 12,066 individuals, which is an increase in the 2023 achieved sample which consisted of 4,191 households and 10,199 individuals. See table 7.1.
