In the 36 countries, price levels for Milk, Cheese & Eggs were highest in Iceland (66% above the EU27 average) and lowest in Poland (26% below the EU27 average). Irish price levels for Milk, Cheese & Eggs were 25% above the EU27 average. Of the Eurozone countries the highest price levels were observed in Cyprus (38% above the EU27 average) and the lowest were in France (4% below the EU27 average), see Table 9.1 below.
Ireland ranked 8th most expensive of the 36 countries and 5th most expensive of the 19 Eurozone countries.
