This chapter presents selected agriculture statistics by electoral division. Results on number of agriculture holdings, livestock numbers, holder age and land utilisation are presented and discussed below.
A new interactive application has been launched by the CSO which allows users to explore the data at Electoral Division level. This tool will allow users to access data on livestock, land utilisation, number of agriculture holdings and information on the age of land holders in specific electoral divisions. The new tool is highly interactive and displays the data in engaging visualisations. You can access the application here: Agrimaps
