These tables provide information on the people who have died from COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with the virus.
It includes the geographical location of the people who died, their age profile, sex and whether their death was linked to a cluster / outbreak of the virus.
The data also includes information on whether those who died or were diagnosed as COVID-19 positive worked as health care workers.
Information on whether persons who died had an underlying health condition is also available.
The source of the data is the Computerised Infectious Disease Reporting (CIDR), an information system developed to manage the surveillance and control of infectious diseases in Ireland. Data from CIDR is provided to the CSO by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC).
