- In 2023, 60,344 acres of agricultural land were sold nationally at the median price of €9,084 per acre.
- The national median price of arable land was €16,275 while the national median price for permanent grassland was €8,887.
- Dublin and Mid-East regions had the highest median prices per acre of €15,048 and €14,398 respectively.
- The lowest median price per acre was €6,745 in the West region.
- The highest volume of agricultural land, 13,637 acres, was sold in the West region.
- The lowest volume of agricultural land sold was in the Dublin region, 127 acres and South-East region, 5,199 acres.
