Purpose(s) of the processing and the lawful basis for the processingThis notice sets out specific details required under Article 13 of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), regarding information explaining the handling of personal data held by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), for the purpose of providing Teacher/School resources information and details of school competitions run or administered by the CSO. Processing is based under Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR (Lawfulness of processing), where processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child. |
