Survey purpose:

The Pulse Survey - "Our Lives Outdoors" explores people's relationship with the outdoors and natural spaces that surround them in Ireland. The respondents were asked about their time and activities outdoors and in natural spaces, their concerns and involvement in the protection of the environment, and, finally, their time and activities in their garden. Outdoors and natural spaces are defined as 'green' and ‘blue’ outdoor spaces in cities and in the countryside.
