Impact of Selected Schemes on Employees
This publication presents analysis of the impact selected COVID-19 Income Support Schemes had on the income of employees in Ireland in the first three quarters of 2020. This analysis examines the extent to which employees’ median weekly earnings and income were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact selected COVID-19 income supports had on the income of those employees who received them.

All employees present on Revenue's PAYE payroll dataset in the period Q1 2019 to Q3 2020 and those employees in the period that also received selected COVID-19 income supports from either the Revenue Commissioners or the Department of Social Protection.
Administrative data from the Revenue Commissioners and the Department of Social Protection is utilised in this analysis. Therefore, data is available on the whole statistical population and a sampling frame is not relevant.
