Data Analytics Workshop

Summary


The focus of the workshop is to

i)  provide an overview of how some simple (and low cost) technologies can be deployed to set up a data analytics centre 

ii) provide some examples of the technology in action


The target audience for this workshop is Public Sector employees that engage with (or are planning to engage with or setup) data analytics platforms in their respective organisations.
The workshop will primarily rely on 2 different technologies


i)  R - the emerging technology in the data science world (www.r-bloggers.com )

ii) PC-Axis/PXWeb - a community based dissemination framework widely used by statistical offices around the world (http://www.scb.se/pc-axis/)

 

The program is setup such that an end to end view of a simple data analytics environment is presented.

There will also be networking opportunities with the speakers and fellow colleagues.

The CSO Statbank team will also be present on the day should anyone have any questions about CSO dissemination systems.
