Public Transport usage in September continued to exceed pre-pandemic numbers

After October 2023 we will no longer be publishing the Transport Bulletin in the current format. Going forward the data will be available on the Transport Dashboard which we will be launching shortly.

Traffic Count Data

Car traffic count data are shown in Figure 1.1 and Figure 1.2. Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) traffic count data are shown in Figure 1.3 and Figure 1.4.

Please note that the timing of bank holidays can impact on the yearly comparison of traffic count data. Analysis is based on Traffic Monitoring Units (TMU’s). Please note that the CSO has no records on vehicle speed which can impact on the comparison of traffic count data.
