This report presents, for the first time, comprehensive census of population results for both Ireland and Northern Ireland in a single publication. This is the result of close collaboration between the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA). This publication draws together results from both censuses and explores both the similarities and differences in the two populations as well as looking at how these populations have changed over time.
