Average Price by Eircode Area
In the year to March, the most expensive Eircode area for household dwelling purchases was D06 'Dublin 6', with an average price of €726,508. In fact, the ten most expensive Eircode areas by average price in the same period were all in Dublin. The second most expensive Eircode area was D04 'Dublin 4', where the average price was €709,567. The third most expensive was A94 'Blackrock', which had an average price of €650,219.
The least expensive Eircode area within Dublin was D10 'Dublin 10', with an average price of €171,389.
Outside Dublin the most expensive Eircode area was A63 'Greystones', with an average dwelling price of €405,100. The second most expensive Eircode area outside Dublin was A98 'Bray', where the average price was €366,670. The third most expensive was P17 ‘Kinsale', which had an average price of €347,341.
The least expensive Eircode area over the last 12 months was F45 'Castlerea', with an average price of €68,831. The second least expensive Eircode area was H23 'Clones', where the average price was €79,432. The third least expensive area was F35 'Ballyhaunis', which had an average price of €82,857 (see Figure 3.1).

Median Prices by Eircode Area
In the year to March, the Eircode area with the highest median price for household dwelling purchases was A94 'Blackrock' (€575,000). As with average price, the ten most expensive Eircode areas by median price were in Dublin. The second most expensive Eircode area was A96 'Glenageary', where the median price was €525,250. The third most expensive was D6W 'Dublin 6W', which had a median price of €525,000.
The least expensive Eircode area within Dublin by median price was D10 'Dublin 10', with a median price of €167,000.
Outside Dublin the most expensive Eircode area over the last twelve months was A63 'Greystones', with a median price of €345,000. The second most expensive Eircode area was A86 'Dunboyne', where the median price was €337,500. The third most expensive was A98 'Bray', which had a median price of €320,000.
The least expensive Eircode area over the last 12 months was H23 'Clones', with a median price of €50,000. The second least expensive Eircode areas were F45 'Castlerea' where the median price was €55,000 and F35 'Ballyhaunis', which had a median price of €64,000 (See Figure 3.2).
