'Glenageary' the Eircode area with the highest Median price

Median Prices by Eircode Area

In the year to December, the Eircode area with the highest median price for household dwelling purchases was A96 'Glenageary' (€605,000). The ten most expensive Eircode areas by median price were in Dublin. The Eircode area with the second highest median price was A94 'Blackrock', where the median price was €570,000. The third most expensive was D6 'Dublin 6', where the median price was €567,000.

The least expensive Eircode area within Dublin by median price was D10 'Dublin 10', with a median price of €201,000.

Outside Dublin the most expensive Eircode area over the last twelve months was A63 'Greystones', with a median price of €385,000. The second most expensive Eircode area was A98 'Bray', where the median price was €350,000. The third most expensive was A86 'Dunboyne', which had a median price of €328,000.

The least expensive Eircode area over the last 12 months was F35 'Ballyhaunis', with a median price of €65,000. The second least expensive Eircode area was F45 'Castlerea', where the median price was €66,750. The third least expensive area was H23 'Clones', which had a median price of €68,000 (See Figure 3.1).

'Dublin 4' the most expensive Eircode area by mean price

In the year to December, the most expensive Eircode area for household dwelling purchases was D04 'Dublin 4', with a mean price of €734,721. As with median prices, the ten most expensive Eircode areas by mean price were all in Dublin. The second most expensive Eircode area was D06 'Dublin 6', where the mean price was €729,427. The third most expensive was A96 'Glenageary', which had a mean price of €696,999.

The least expensive Eircode area within Dublin was D10 'Dublin 10', with a mean price of €202,056.

Outside Dublin the most expensive Eircode area was A63 'Greystones', with a mean dwelling price of €414,244. The second most expensive Eircode area outside Dublin was A98 'Bray', where the mean price was €383,862. The third most expensive was P17 ‘Kinsale', which had a mean price of €358,750.

The least expensive Eircode area over the last 12 months was F45 'Castlerea', with a mean price of €76,025. The second least expensive Eircode area was F35 ‘Ballyhaunis', where the mean price was €76,098. The third least expensive area was H23 'Clones', which had a mean price of €84,420 (see Figure 3.2).
